after reading some of the power figures discussed in this thread, i might get 250 easy

Heaps of people have run 2.1s at 250kw +

I have a much bigger Process West intercooler.

Stifling and version 6 had same power with TMIC

Correct Version6 does have a gd process west top mount, however I don't know the actual temperature of the air that goes into the motor, having a larger core helps yes but it might not be cooling the air down as much compared to a lower power level and boost level

After four runs at the drags a few weeks ago I let the car sit four around 40 minutes.

My tmic was still too hot to touch...

Well. Actaully it should be ok for more than that. I was running my old PW TMIC with over 250kw@w at RAC sprints and such. And the car always felt pretty powerful up until the ambient temps got up to about 25-30c or higher. After that you could begin to feel the lack of power from the heat build up.

But 250+ kw on a street car with infrequent boosting or a 1/4 mile car that only does 12 seconds at a time should manage alright.

And turbo sizing comes into it aswell. 250+kw on a smaller turbo operating out if its efficiency range is gonna be WAY hotter than 250+kw on a turbo thats smack bang in the middle of its efficiency range at that exact same power level.

Compressor efficency is basically how much of the turbine energy is actually used by the compressor to compress the air VS heat it. Universal laws of gas means compressing air makes its hotter, you cant get away from that fact. But the more efficient the compressor is running, the less added heat will be generated in doing so. Extreme cases you might only be operating at like 50-60% efficiency or less, which is pretty poor and makes very hot air.
