That bag needs to be sitting flat on the bottom of the fuel tank. The way it is now, anything under half tank probably results in bad fuel surge.

Tode, see how you've got a speedflow fitting screwed into the pump? That is a bit too long, and its making the sock sit really low, which means it would be getting squashed up against the bottom of the tank.

Get a barbed brass screw in fitting instead. It screws straight into the pump, and the hose pushes onto that. It should lift the sock up a bit higher.

yeh iv managed to raise the pump a bit. I fitted a different fitting to the outlet - off the 040 - saved nearly an inch there.
Im also taking off the speedflow fitting - and just going to put a clamped hose from the screw in black fitting to the fuel sock. should save about 2 inches there.
I'l finish the job tomorrow, got work now
hopefully that will solve some issues, or open up another can of worms

Come over and grab my standard assembly and make sure your sock is at the same height/angle without crushing feed lines.

ok i fitted the now raised fuel sock. Looking at pics around the net - I think thats around the stock position.
Anyway, it hasnt fixed anything
It feels a little better, but i think i have another issue...

Will have to book it in to a dyno i guess
