I am getting the P0171 code (engine too lean: bank 1 - fuel trim malfunction)
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=P0171 This code has been there from when the SARDS got put in. It is not a "current" trouble code - rarther than a "historic" trouble code. This is being read with my OBD cable and ecuexplorer. Reading the above nasioc report, either my 02 sensor is gone dodge since i run no cats, or quite possibly the afm is on its way out - which could explain what is happening. Anyone willing to borrow me a afm meter ? ps* i used to get the 02 sensor CEL ages ago but that has nevr come back for some reason... Last edited by waxdass; 01-11-2006 at 01:03 PM. |

The pump is a genuine Bosch, and I have no problem sending it back if it IS a faulty pump, because there is a 12 month warranty on manufacturing defects or malfunctions

Also, by the looks of it, your fuel pump install seems to be correct this time, with the sock in the right position, etc.

I can get aftermarket O2 sensors for pretty cheap, but I'm not sure how well they'd work on your car. Best off getting genuine, if it is the problem.
Give Regents Subaru a call. |

Does the front o2 sensor fall to zero when you get out of closed loop mode?
Does it register any voltage at all during cruise? Welcome to problem solving 101 |
