Burke, what drinks/types of food can you recommend for a natural energy boost either first thing in the morning or during the day?

A friend once mentioned that sparkling dark grape juice is good?

Trying to find a substitute for coffee or at least to lower my consumption.

Cheers,

25kg in 2 months is almost unheard of. You must be

a) Excercising/dieting like a mofo
b) Having a shitload of sex in your spare time
c) a + b combined
d) Be a serious fat cunt and easily able to lose
e) Railing lines of gear and partying for weeks on end
f) All of the above (street cred)

Amazing what some resolve, willpower, and exercise can achieve.

It can't be too healthy going to such extremes with the weight right?

I'm no expert but wouldn't a more long term plan be a better solution and rather than cut everything out for a few months and then go crazy on it.

Pretty much. The problem with rapid weightloss is alot of the time the person does not really learn much about changing habits that they need to continue to keep the weight off. Even in the Biggest Loser comps, a high percentage of the contestants put the weight back on because they lose it in an unrealistic scenario.
I've had a few 30-40kg shedders who all took around 8-12 months to drop it and have kept it off.
They seem to cry less this way also.
