Yeah I am.

Funnily enough, I actually control my sugars pretty well.

As a type 1, I am insulin dependant so its not as bad as a type 2 where diet change and weight loss affects the need/amount of insulin needed.

My numbers might drop or rise by a few units, but the bigger determining factor is what I eat.

I figured that one of the best ways to control your sugars was with routine in what you eat which is one of the biggest factors in shedding the kgs and keeping them off.

Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Yeah, every experts proclaims 6 small meals a day for weight loss

The problem is my doctors recommend 3 meals a day to go with my insulin.

Someone has to win the argument.

Question for the experts - I have been trying to track what i have been eating for the last few weeks. On average my calories are around the 1700-1900 mark. According to my iphone app it should be 1950. Now then I exercise and add that, my daily count is around1000 calories. Am i eating enough?? I know that all of this is a little hard with out see me and me seeing a Dr or something like that but what should the I be aiming to eat. I would like to loose about 5kg!!!

if you're an average guy living an average life 1900 cals is plenty if you want to drop weight if you are doing the usual type of exercise.

If its only 5kg that you want to lose ( by this I'm assuming that you arent "overweight" ) than it may take a little longer than say someone who has 30kg to lose. ( their first 5kg will literally fall off )

You just have to be consistant.

I have just started my lifestyle change. No more buying lunch every day at work - I think this is my biggest issue now in terms of not losing my weight.

Take fruit salad for morning snack, and a Garden Salad with lean chicken breast and eggs for lunch.

Drinking water before I eat to help stop myself over-eating.

Thats a pretty good pace. I usually run 10kms around 42min mark - bit slower than you! Hoping to break 50mins this year in the C2S.

Ok gym guys etc.
Im looking at joining gym in the coming weeks and was looking at joining jetts.
I have one dilemma though, i have no real idea what i would be doing. I dont have a figure of how.much i want to loose but i want to start not being a fat dude anymore.

Would i be best off getting some pt sessions first to.establish the correct way of doing exercises and some form plan sorted then move onto doing these exercises by myself?
Cheers in advance
