IF that is 100mm thick that is cheap.

$110 / m2 is the going rate for exposed agg @ 100mm thick.

Material cost is about $290 / m3 which is about $100 / m3 more than normal concrete.

given the market has picked back up im looking at a very pretty profit which i am quite pleased about.

Consider contacting Builders Registration Board. They do dispute resolution.

Thanks hun
I have them on speed dial. thats how i got money back for my gas bill when the fucks didnt connect my solar hot water. never ending dramas with BGC. bunch of wankers. never recommend to anyone.

as for the quality of the work inside the house it comes down to the tradies involved and I am very happy with how my house was finished back in July 09. just not the support from BGC.

They got my money so now they dont care. After sales service is crap.

i think this has been posted somewhere in this thread but cant find it.....

looking at doing a porch about 3.5msq in 100mm concrete instead of pavers. any ideas of cost?

working out if its worth a change with builder vs doing after. convenience of having builder do it is important (when they do garage) but if they are gonna completely rip me off I will do after.....

thanks

could be cheaper through builder get quotes, I worked on a house where the owners wanted couple windows after and they thought it would be cheaper private but it was cheaper through the builder.

Get the builders to do it. Minimum delivery you can get from the batch plant is 1.2m and you only need .35m/3.

Other option would be to do all the prep and when the grano pour the garage get them to do that aswell for a couple of cartons.
