VERY solid. Packing a Synesso Cyncra 3 group and their own Five Senses coffee blend, its about the best you'll find at that end of the CBD.

Epic Espresso on Ord Street West Perth has frontage where you can smoke, only problem is that the area is always full of people walking backwards and forwards, not recommended if you want a cafe` to chill out at for an extended period of time.

The best coffee I have found in the CBD is cafe vinyl. It is on hay street just out side 78 records. Coffees are great, people who serve them are friendly and the girls that work there are pleasant to look at.

Used to get a morning coffee from there occasionally, quality was pretty inconsistent though. Cafe Cafe was probably the best I've had around that area, but Velvet and tiger tiger FTW

I'll tell ya why Fix Espresso is doing $2.50 coffees..

Because Epic is next door, and Pony Express 75m away is starting to get some traction.. they have a rare and expensive Slayer coffee machine, with a barista who knows how to use it.

I have a kilo of them and I must say, so far they are pretty damn good. I say on par with five senses.
