There's another Homeswest house a few houses up the other direction, and there is an African family living there, who are ok and keep to themselves. Luck of the draw I suppose.
Thing is, all the homes around me are probably a year old, at max. It would be silly for Homeswest to not protect this asset - as a new house in good condition is worth more to them than one that has been trashed by shit tenants. Next step for us is to get a big Schwartzenegger dog to scare off potential intruders. I live with a house full of tall, fit guys; so I hope that makes us a lesser potential target. |

Big dog is best imo, I couldn't live with that shit either.

My folks had a similar problem in an investment property they were doing up.
Bunch of aboriginals were terrorising the neighbourhood. First thing the neighbours did was got the backing of neighbourhood watch which had community policing come out and have a meeting with all of the neighbours bar the aboriginals. Then a few complaints to homeswest and some calls the cops and they were out within a month. |

Find out who is responsible for that house within the housing department. Every area has a dedicated regional manager.
Get his number and introduce yourself and say that you have become the spokes person for the people within your street regarding the tenants. Get a petition signed by as many neighbours as you can and make sure you mention it is anonymous. Take pics and bombard the fucker with emails ( find out who his boss is and cc the boss every time ) and phonecalls anytime the tenants even fart. Get any neighbours that are willing ( you'll soon see how spineless some are ) to do the same. Eventually they'll get shifted, it took me 8 months.

At this point we are still unsure if it is a Homeswest home... Is anyone on here in real estate... my ex girlfriend used to be able to access title information, and she was only a receptionist at Century 21...
I've looked on Landgate, and it seems that any person can retrieve details on the certificate of title for a property for $20.... |

On a separate note...
The dodgiest native/Homewest I have ever seen is on a back street in Midland. Just drove down the street recently and it has been burnt out! Good stuff. |

I wish there was a homewest map on the net or at least a site telling you roads or areas of surburbs to avoid...

If you speak to a home building consultant they may give you the down-low if you give them the impression you're genuinely interested in the good areas of Perth. I found out early from the mob I'm building with, they educated me on all the good & bad areas of the Perth metro area regarding proximity to government and low income housing. Found out the large chunk of land between Bertram and Success on the west side of the Kwinana freeway is government owned property, and they're sitting on it waiting to kick off more government housing eventually.
