It was a weekend, 9:30am - still fucking disappointing.

Its not loss of points thats the issue (he will lose 7 I think but he has more than that), its the reckless driving offense. So I think that makes him eligible for an E license. Still doesn't help me much, delivery driver with no license for I'm guessing 6 or so weeks provided they do grant him one.

LOL 9.30, niggas keen.

Being a delivery driver who cant drive does indeed limit his work potential.

When I lost mine in 2010, work was good. They shuffled things so if I had to go out someone would drive me. Dont know how big etc your work is but I would start putting a plan together... or looking for someone new.

Small - 6 employees. Problem = he is my future BIL so I'm kinda stuck trying to help him out. Otherwise he would have been out the door and the thread wouldn't exist. FTMFL......

In the past the "time" minimum was one month for every non demerit loss of license offence based on the number of offences that the driver had previously lost their license.

IE - 3rd time around 3 month minimum before the Extraordinary can be applied.

Your chances of getting an extraordinary has been tightened though and you'll have to prove financial hardship beyond the financial parameters of the offence.

I saw a car with E plates on it on the weekend. The system still exists. They've been saying they were going to get rid of it for ages, but AFAIK nothing has been done about it yet. My stepdad lost his licence for DD back in '10 and applied and was granted it straight away. He only went about 2 weeks without being able to drive for the 3month period

Presumably you have the work vehicle he drives insured? Your insurance company will want to know about his convictions as a driver of said vehicles and may decline to cover future BIL as a driver....

Better to disclose and be sure up front than have a claim down the track and find BIL isn't insurable.

Often these consequenses to speeding ( dangerous driving ) are overlooked.

i also thought this being the case....

not only that i also thought speed cameras cant get you past 180kms thats why all these motorbikes keep getting let off... maybe my misunderstanding.

either way 209kms :| great effort -dont condone it tho
