Default Granny Flat Building

Hey guys,

I am just trying to scope out how I could build a granny flat out the back of a house.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

The plan is for a very low cost design (build a shed then insulate the inside) the shed will be approx 6mx4.5m with a concrete pad and building in the city of swan.

We were going to build ourselves as I do have mates in different trades to do electrical and plumbing but have been informed that we are required to have a builder do the job.

We will have to do it by the book as the neighbours dob us into the council for anything they can.

If anyone knows that would be great.

Cheers,
Damien
