Rally was better but air race is still cool. They would have canned the rally anyway, might as well enjoy what we have. I'm looking forward to flying over to the eastern staes for the rally next year anyhow. something different.

Rally Oz has been concelled for next year (confirmed by CAMS). Promotors couldnt get the approval for the $650million motorsport park in Norwell. Some are doubting it will return at all. See latest Auto Action.

Just go to New Zealand.

will be watching from my gf's apartment at the panorama should be a good spectacle, however i wish they had kept rally oz, btw thought they got rid of rally oz cause it wasn't making any money, doesnt make sense how they are gonna profit from the air show. (charge people for looking into the sky???)

Tourism ...

Influx of people, benefits to the local economy, etc.

Rally Oz and Red Bull air race combined, would have brought a lot to Perth - Can't say much for a labour government really.

I was thinking that we could start at the airstrip and then when everyones happy they have go that covered then start walking round the rive to get some different angles.

Im going down at lunch time to see what the setup down there is, I will post some snaps when I have sussed it out.
