Cheers chaps...
Yeah, will be some fun DIY weekends ahead... (on that, if you wanna get ya hands dirty, im all for people coming down to look/help/dremel my front bar.... Joe....? lol. (I know Mandee did most of yours though ). Should be fun though, as I am yet to delve too deeply into Subaru's 'interesting' engine bay layout... haha. (My late stepdad was a motor mechanic - so I was handing spanners/helping on cars from around 6-7 years of age though. So im somewhat mech minded). Joe - spot on. It is the Blouch TD06-20G. So factory mount position/factory heat shield will remain. (Perhaps beanie if they are worth it). And its somewhat smaller than a Trust/Greddy style 'TD06'. Its got the 7cm front end, but as I said earlier, once I see the final graph, will determine whether or not to keep the turbo on/cam & head job/downsize snail to something else... etc. No one that I can gather has this on a bolt on modded/internally standard 207 here. So im happy to guinea pig it. See what happens, and hopefully set a path if others in the 207 fold want to go this way. Brent.

No need for a beanie imo! spend the cash on cams for sure! Joe's car is a great example of what a stock 207, TD06 and cams can do, 350hp will easily make your 300hp goal :P

Yep, cams make all the difference... mine seems to pick up around 20-30HP over what other setups are making (minus the cams), and I put it down to the cams and headwork.
At the time when there wasn't as many cam choices, I fit a set of Maximum Motorsport secret-spec cams (made by Wade Cams, they are a custom duration and lift.), but if I had to do cams again, I'd probably go the Cosworth ones. |

Well, after consultation with people 'in the know'... the following is now the path to success. And also perhaps some numbers/light reading for people thinking of going Motec, or that have Motec and were curious on any of the following:
5 wire lambda sensor - LSU 4.2 $169. 3 bar abs MAP sensor - $137. Boost control valve - $163. Advanced functions - (R/I, A/L, L/C etc) $535 Datalogging - 1MB $272, 4MB $841. W/B Lambda - $660 Now I am literally "this close" to having all the 'ducks in a row' as they say, to turn words, into photos, into results. Good times ahead. Brent.
