please tell me you varied the revs for the first 500-100km and didn't just sit on the speed limit?

Also, were they the Mahle SUB193642I16 ?

The rings were bed in on the dyno to start with and then yes, the revs were varied for actually about the first 1500km. On the way out of Adelaide actually went through Clare etc, instead of just up the main drag to Port Augusta to get varied hills/gradients etc. I'm not quite that silly In regards to the pistons Gav (STI325V6) would probably know, as that's where the motor came from.

I can't describe just how different it sounds. I was expecting to lose the rumble with the EL headers, but not to this extent. IMO sounds the biz on idle. Just wish I could have had a tune before Sunday. 4500 limit FTL!

Hi kiddies, so today the car spent a bit of time down with Sean and the boys at ASG with what I was hoping would be a final tune. However, as usual there were a few roadblocks. Unfortunately the actuator was releasing at 0.9 bar, so it would appear a new actuator with a stronger spring is needed. It was still tuned, and the pissy 5k rev limit was removed, so it's still a great deal more fun to drive and was achieving 230 something hp at 13psi. So it shall be left as is for now until I can source perhaps a 1bar Forge Actuator or the likes.
