355hp is only around 266kw so not quite that... but still... a good figure, alot of work but alot of power out of a unopened 257... good work. Will be keeping a eye out for this.

As far as im aware, knocking is the primary engine failure factor (catastrophic cylinder pressure). Fatigue is secondary. I did compression and leak down before ordering new turbo. I suggest u have a read on this: http://www.vikingspeedshop.com/how-t...ru-wrx-or-sti/ Friend just sold his sti with 365whp on daily tuned by mao, showed 2psi cylinder pressure difference on stechnic compression test. Retune is just like doing a fifth gear pull. If a tuner is cautious, he will do small adjustment at a time and back off when knocking is heard. using the Perth-WRX mobile app

Can see the head of the bolt, but it appears to be embedded in the plastic end?
Oh well, all good

Hey Gordon - so with this kind of horsepower, will you be changing oil every 500kms now?

Here is a VF34(left) and GCG GT2871 (right) Mao is fitting on a GC8, they didnt take photos to compare my VF48 and my GT2871 . The turbine housing is similar size but compressor is bigger.
Like Nick's 1.5XTR, car lost mid range punch, and power becomes more linear running 1 bar. My plan is to slowly increase boost until my knock analyser sees knocking, then run a few settings below it, ie daily, track and drag.
