I can wire in a Syvecs and configure all the pins etc but I haven't the first idea of where to start tuning as I just don't have the knowledge.

It's a shame they aren't used much here s they are such a capable ecu.

If anyone is wondering why I keep going on about them. Download the software from the link below from the official Syvecs site. I've got a map from my old JDM Twinscroll peanut that made 504bhp on V Power and 15% Methanol if someone wants to have a play with it.

The exe file is a suite of software tools SCal is the main one used for tuning.

If you need base map send me a pm I'd be happy to send it.

Here's the link to the software.

I'm not spruking ecutek but I think this explains how the G3 ecu can control itself with a flex tune. As far as I know it (ecu) can only hold one boost taper map.

I agree. However when people offer advice on what looks and sounds to be a terrible idea, then get shut down, told in some crazy scientific way how you're wrong and then get proven right in the future. I think that is a valid reason to have a little huh at the outcome.

I also didnt like his spruking of bad ideas to new members who think he is correct by not having experience to know better.

Perth WRX, Behold!!

THIS ^^^ is what the problem was! Gordon came along, preaching and persisting about his beloved tuner, his ultra safe tune, his tuners specialist "style" of high boost and no timing, his 6 separate boost settings and 14 individual recommended controllers, gadgets and dials installed in the cars cockpit. His gospel and words of advice that were all so very, very incorrect. And it went on, and on, and on. More than the ordinary person, and this became dangerous to anyone listening (newbies).

And now, BOOM! And he is nowhere to be seen.
