Be aware of your car has ABS , RA rear hubs don't support it . I have dogbones and bullshit to them weakening performance of the 2 pots

What about fitting the RA two pots alone, or do they not directly replace the single pot without any problems?

From memory they still require dogbones . The setup is the same as GDB 4x100 with 2 pots just no Abs tone rings on the shafts and no mounts for the sensors on the hubs

Is it really worth it? Rear 1 pot to 2 pot with all that stuffing about?

Probably not if it's that involved. If however swapping out to V6 RA rear twins was a simple replacement though, I'd consider it. Something to stay preoccupied with until the rotary ute is back anyway.
