The copy pumps are exact copy of the Subaru pump.

Until you look at the plugs, Spring, piston.

There also a 11.88mm thick rotator

You need to port the pump as well. The issue is there with foaming of the oil

So bit of an update. As i was getting heads rebuilt, and about to be attached to the block, it was found (via RV machine) that the machining on the block face wasnt to standard for MLS gaskets.
Unfortunately block had to be stripped down, and remachined.
How ever, the difference is instantly evident.

Before and after shots provided.

Great work to the boys down at "The Engine Shop"

Kelford 272 cams, new kelford spring kit and retainers have also been installed.
Heads will be bolted onto the block by the end of the week with ARP 625+ headstuds and OEM MLS gaskets..

Exciting times ahead

Yeah I was advised by the engine builder and tuner 20-30 minutes dyno run in. Then power tune and start driving it how you intend on using it. Which in my case means lean on it straight away.
