Now the plan is to have sub mounted in wheel well and both amps put on a custom rack I will now build against the back of the rear seat ; ) this will give me heaps of space in the boot and look just as nice it will however affect the bass it may boost it being that there is more air around the boot that the speaker can now push sound to osage through but a slimmer box may drop it also so we will see I'm confident it will be okay though : )

False floor is all in and will post up pics tonight it looks real good all I need now is to carpet it ; )
you realize having the sub in the spare wheel arch, your sub will potentially get damaged if you every need to put something in your boot, but yeah they look awesome in the spare wheel arch but be careful you dont damage your sub, when i finish mine ill post photos soo hopefully this weekend my car will be back "touch wood"

I had floor mounted subs in my first Subaru wagon..

Had a cover that went over to hide them, didn't offer any protecting however, I was just careful when putting things in the boot. The lip of the sub stopped them from getting damaged.

Yeah I know there are covers nd stuff but I don't see the reason to run no spare that's all, but each to there own. I'll get my car back this week hopefully

Is that sub just dangling in the wheel well?? Not sealed off behind it at all? I hope that Pioneer sub is suited to an infinite baffle or that is going to sound shithouse.

Nah I made a box for underneath just didn't take pics I will be pulling it apart the great thing was I could bolt it down with the spare wheel nut ; ) just used a flat one sounds really good actually and it's a champion series sub pretty f&$king good subs ; )

I will be adding a 3" layer on top of all this. Overexcited in blue and black will look nice first the amp rack though just considering a few options ; )
