Im liking my manifold so will stick with that at this stage...
I would not say its a copy it still uses the stock thottle body with stock inlet position, where as the Tomei has quad throttle bodies and a offset reverse inlet, I doubt that this would flow much better than a stock manifold.

But it certainly has the bling.

lewis i meant the top of the manifold looks very similar to the tommei, i know that the other components are completely different aka TB etc..

amen to that!

i think a standard manifold can be made to look something special.

i don't mean to thread hijack, but that's my standard MY98 manifold with all the factory bits and pieces ground off and filled in and tino's fav, polished!

faced with a choice of spending money on a total unknown or doing the above, i would go the factory reversed polished and grinded special!

the mercury coils are highly recommended by motec, even without the CDI they are a good coil with good dwell timing. one caveat of a CDI is the draw they place on the electrical system, so make sure you have both a good battery and a high amperage alternator. its not uncommon for a CDI/MSD setup to chew upto 15amps from a basic 4 cylinder car.
