Default What Heads for 2.2 stroker

Experts Required

I have the below short block coming and need to whack a set of heads on :-

"I have a 2.0lt semi closed deck block, rebored to +.5mm OS with brand new mahle forged pistons, these are low expansion alloy pistons same as OEM, so it will be dead quiet, no slap at all, pistons are brand new stroker pistons, have teflon coatings on skirts, block decks machined, set of brand new 2.5lt rods (spec c rods), STI 2.5 MSR rephased oiling crank, ACL race bearings, all assembled as a short"

What do you all recommend, this will be going in my MY00 Wrx, has to be non AVCS heads....

cheers

avcs heads are fine, just dont run avcs cams.

get the heads ported and flowbenched, they'll perform better then anything factory.

What stace said. Spend the money on some really good ported heads. You can start with any crap as they will all flow the same if ported corectly.

You can convert the v6 sti heads to shimless buckets, I was going to do this in the wagon at one stage. But if you are aiming to get the heads flowed and tested then anything will suffice (im assuming you'll be running GD STi inlet manifold?)
