Oooh!

So you bought yours for $14,500... Have it insured for $30,000... Yet the good price on these cars is $25,000?

Personally I think what you paid is correct for the age of the car. Anyone paying more than $15-20k for a 'stock' V6 is paying for passion more than anything else.

Oh it also is a conflict of interest if all V6 owners are selling their cars at a price higher than the true market value. As there aren't many for sale, its easy for owners to do this.

Almost like the suckers buying a 22B for $100k...

So I said what I think they are worth. Are people selling them at these crackpipe high prices?

Agree with the 22b's being out there......But rare = Expensive generally.

$450k for an original Phase III GT-HO anyone?

My insurance is through a broker, with the STI it includes the retail cost of all mods (about $7k worth of mods/ Audio on the policy). The R32 is insured for the same Sum in stock form.

Firstly noone asked an evo driver Secondly you only need to look at our for sale section to see ok gc8 wrxs around the 14k mark, common sense says the STI would be a bit more than that, and finally, enough of your conflict of interest spank, sounds like a wanky conspiracy theory, all enthusiasts buy their cars with passion, the more they love it the more they will pay, they have to pay more if a lot of other people love the same car,

for 25k id take a GD STI anyday of the week.. i think mid teens to late would be the best estimate.

glass gbox and engine that would be over the 100k mark... disaster waiting to happen..

$14k WRX's are overpriced. I bought mine much much cheaper than that.

i would say 18-20k for a good condition sub 100km one

16-18k for a good condtion one with between 100-150km

and 14-15k for a 150km++ and or anything in average or less condtion

just my opinion and thats all id pay if i was buying one.
