cheers mate, i guess i'll just have to wait and see what they say, will know by next week and will let you guys know, i just keep replaying the whole thing over and over in my head as im sitting on the couch bored out of my brain watching the eagles lose another game lol

At the end of the day you are paying for insurance so you have to jump up and down on the phone and they will give in.

Sorry to tell you mate but they will write it off.

yeh i'm kind of preparing myself for this outcome, just seems like such a waste of what once was such an awesome car, it was my first subi and i had really become attached to it

that sucks dude. i feel your pain. i did almost the same thing 2 yrs ago. I ran up the back of a troopie land cruiser.... it looks pretty bad. i think it will be a tight squeeze with insurance to fix/write off. at the end of the day your ok and cars can be replaced.

Keep us all posted... On the upside if its a write off, 20k + some more will get you another sweet Sti or WRX.

If the chassis rails are still straight you might get away with new radiator support & required panel replacement.

Doesnt look all that bad, I'd say its repairable. Depending on what the engine/engine bay/chassis rails look like, but it can be repaired. Dunno how much for though....


Good luck mate! I feel your pain though, my brother wrecked his WRX in a rather similar manner, not a good feeling! At least you're insured lol
