P.S. I work on the mines, so big cost for strength even if i don't need it is no bother to me...... And never know, i might get bored and want more kw's at least i'll know that the potential is already there So in saying that i guess i'll just go all out and get the kit with the billet crank!!! lol Last edited by TheStalionRex; 27-09-2010 at 08:50 AM. |

To be honest, I havent given it anymore thought than fitting a quality 450hp turbo and a fmic to suit, trust or hks or pwr with custom piping...who knows. Who does the v mount kits these days? How much more (fitted) compared to a std fmic setup? Your just gaining some throttle response hey, not moving the boost threshold really..

id think the fun would be incresed by rotating the manifold and fitting a v-mount, much shorter piping and thus significantly less lag on a bigger trubo is win win. I loved my old combo on my RA and that saw full boost at around 5500, 100 more hp atw 1000 rpm sooner with a lot more torque from the 2.2 is going to be alot of fun when its finished. v mount from process west is $3900 including the radiator etc, so its not badly priced i dont think. a goo FMIC kis sucha s the process west kit is about $1600 or so i think. Depends where you want to make the numbers, at 6000 rpm or 4500 rpm! @ the rich dude who works away and has money to throw around, offer Tino 75k for his car and you have 530hpatw on pump over 600 atw on race fuel. prepare to spend atleast 100k making it happen yourself (reliably).

600 was deff a td06, think it was 25g. Was a far cry from the norm though.
Fully customised one off dual plenums and TB's, vertical core FMIC, Jun 2.2 and a pile of other fab work. There would be some info on here somwhere.
