I have also been looking at the MY07+ GTB Liberty... what about that as a more "family" car?

Plus, the MY08 STi's are at $42k but are only hatches.

EDITED:

Kym also brought up a good point. What is everyone's opinion on the current price people are asking for STi's at the moment?? Over priced for their age or on the money?

^^ and still didn't find one :P

I don't really want a Liberty.. maybe one day a Foz (in particular, Dave's when he's finished with it) but I really want another WRX. Liberty screams 'old man mid life crisis but can't afford anything actually decent' to me..

No offence Jimmy :P

my only wrx is a my05 sti so i am a bit biased but one that has been looked after and loved is the way to go 207 6 speed etc etc and you lose to much on a car buying it new let someone else suffer the depreciation

My two bobs worth Kym, and I understand the dilema you are facing. The new style is awesome, but I have a soft spot for the MY05, always have, always will and thats why I owned one, which I beleive is the best model Subaru released as an all rounder. I would go the 05 STI if it were me On the other hand re family type car, look what American Dave has transformed with his XT Foz. We love our XT Foz, although stock standard (unless I win lotto), its got a heap of space, and with a few mods and/or lowered suspension, looks the goods.
