I'm using Penrite 10W/50 myself, but the WRX is now pushing 220 000kms.

Is it time to go 15W/40 or something?

Genuine Subaru mineral oil is repackaged Magnatec 10w-30

As I said everybody has their opinions and heard different things. Have only ever heard of people recommending against magnatec since my time on the pulsar forums and now wrx forums, so I'm going to stay away from it when there's so many other options.

Did you read my post? Subaru GENUINE oil is Castrol magnatec.
Not my opinion, its what Subaru sell for their engines.

But... fully synthetic is the way to go for turbo engines, not magnatec
