I agree with drewgong, I had a brant in my old MY02 WRX, it has a minor issue (dry solder joints) once that was rectified, was very reliable.

Anyway, rada, the 07 Liberty didn't have a brant system in it (at least mine didn't) I never had an issue with the security system it did have.
Mind you, in the scheme of things, I didn't own it that long, there are a few guys on here that have had theirs for quite a while, I am sure they can give a better opinion.

I do agree with the statement that the Brant is a good system, mine worked fine for a year and then decided to die. It does though seem to have a history of problems.

This.

My liberty was violated in a car park. Only reason I knew was the smell of cigarette smoke in the car

So I have contacted a few places and none have said they can do this. Having had the car a few weeks now, it would be an excellent safety modification. Our previous cars have all had only the drivers door open with one click and we reckon its a handy safety feature. Do you know of somewhere that can do this in conjunction with a good alarm?

It's not regarding safety, with a common household item, the open all doors button can be activated by an evil person intent on taking your Property

not sure who'd be able to do this for you, could be a simple as unplugging the switch off the back of the panel if it has its own plug

Liberty system is a normal, modern, factory immobiliser system. All you really need is a coded key to steal the car. So if they steal your keys, they can steal your car. Subaru do an upgrade system with a bonnet switch, a siren, and sensors that can detect if a window is broken. Bit pricey though.
I would get a quality aftermarket system fitted if your worried. They can be activated by The factory remote locking/ unlocking the doors.
Just make sure it is fitted by a professional that knows what they're doing.
