Picked it up today...dyno sheet attached for any who are interested the blue line was a reference I asked them to add (just for an easier 'relativity' viewpoint) from a stock model FA they tuned in November 2015. Hope this loads OK, let me know if it's screwed

If you can't be stuffed scrolling back up then the additions were:
1. Process West Intercooler
2. Process West Cold Air Intake
3. Invidia Q300 Turbo Back Exhaust
4. Whiteline front and rear sway bars
5. Whiteline Centre and Bump Steer Kit
6. Turbosmart BOV
7. Full EcuTEK tune and dyno

I believe there was a gent here who queried the grumble of the Q300 on the 2015+ models; take it from me that it is barely more noisy than stock. That 'quintessential' boxer exhaust that has been so distinct for years is gone...or at least not there with the FA and Q300 combo.

The sound of the air intake and BOV completely drown it out anyway - goddam I didn't the BOV Would be that loud!! Might have a think about that...for mine it's rather 'excessive'...

If this is good or bad or OK let me know guys, other than 18's and brakes this is the end of my mod pursuits. Personally I only 'grandma'ed' the car back to mine but it was bloody moving. First time I gave 2nd a burst I dropped a few nuggets in the panties.

I know this is all probably a bit yawn worthy for most of you guys because you are dealing with tonnes more power...but to an amateur and a noob this is pretty goddam fast! Fastest car I have driven or been in. Just IMHO anyway guys

Peace
Josh

Nice looking graph, comes on soon and makes decent power up top.

Nah mate - only sensitive when rooting - but just don't know stuff around engines so trying to find why and what and where etc.

Psi is 20-ish across the board mate.

Cheers man,
Josh

Thanks man....yeah it drives that way as well. Down at the low end (2-4.5k RPM) it really launches; after that the FA20DIT doesn't taper off like it did stock; but it just holds the same which I think most dudes would want it to keep 'giving more' through that upper portion.

No doubt that's the difference between the STi and the WRX (or the EJ257 and the FA20DIT respectively); however it is obvious I am not a pro with this stuff. I just wanted to put up what mine did with what mod's and how I felt so that it might help others - I've had a couple guys PM for a chat so that is what I'm here for. Just want to help guys out at the entry level.

Same as car audio - not much use for a noob looking through thread after thread of DSP, TA and level matching, CCA vs OFC cable, plus the rest, on 20k worth of gear when he just wants to know what kinda gauge cable to use to power his sub or what his DVC coils resistance create.

Hopefully this helps some guys somewhere and if you have any questions I am open to let you know what I know for sure gimme a PM.

Dude that does Cobb AP3's has a rep a mile long (and I don't know jack) so queries remain on that puppy.

Otherwise rims, rubber, and all that stuff that surrounds them is next on the list after the engine...and the stereo install. Yes there will be more spent on the stereo than on the mods and rims and all the rest put together...that is my claim to fame

Peace
Josh
