+1 for a new pump to start with, and then look at other things like a regulator, or have a blockage, or need a new fuel filter.

i conclude the fuel pump is shot because the pressure drops when it heats up.

ive just picked a walbro up from sean at all star - massive thanks for being there at 3pm on a sat arvo.

he has given a obviously very learned opinion of the issue, so it may not be pump after all.

updates later.

What's the story TJ? Fuel pump sorted at all out?
Symptoms sounds similar to what I've got going on at the moment.
