Some reading here..

Red Line Synthetic Oil - WaterWetter® Coolant Additives - WaterWetter®

I dont think its a bad thing but its no substitute for an adequate/well maintained cooling system.

Thermostat I got it from Mao at Evo r

I wasn't expecting massive temp drops, just wanting to help the cooling system just that wee bit...

So as a daily just 6L of coolant and ww should be fine right? I have already bought it so may as well use it and see how it goes

Thanks for the replies guys

Colder thermostat will just mean it takes twice as long to reach operating temperature (which is 86-94 degrees C).

Water wetter is a good product but unless you're tracking or driving the car hard you won't notice any difference at all.

Use genuine coolant unless you have a specific application requiring otherwise.

Always think, who knows better... Team of Subaru engineers developing the car for world wide use (and a warranty) or the kid behind the counter at Supercheap...
