Yup they're Shim overs buddy.

Will be fine with cams, just use a decent valve spring to prevent float at high rpm.

Well the a bit of an update.

the car was advertised incorrectly.
1. its a 205 not a 207.
2. the car did not have head studs.

will be having words to the seller.

the heads are now at the machine shop and the findings are odd to say the least.

a full service is being done along with new bc valves and cam set up (more a check)

there was no bent valves
the head did have worn valve guides, being replaced.

im now at a loss as to understand why 1 bank could only achieve 40psi with a comp test.

could the cam timing be out that much as to cause the loss of compression?
