If you use redline, be sure to compleatly drain all the old oil befor using it.

If you ever want to go back to any other oil its either:

Split the box and degrease gearset or,

Drain, fill with deisel and drive around the block, drain and use any brand oil.

Obviously, option 1 is better.

have just read up that redline LWSP is not recommended for synchro boxes. also if using it is recommended to be chaged at 5000km. screw that! guessing the heavy weight cannot be used in our boxes from no mention about it.

heard good things about motul however. which shops sell motul gearbox oil?

asking again, royal purple anyone?

so far from research and advise, castrol syntrax seems the go. its what most people here recommend.
