That is one neat engine bay, I cant even see a speck of dust! Well OK, maybe a small amount on the left strut tower (or is it a reflection?) - regardless, its pretty spick and span.
Also ALPHA, the equation changes a bit if you already have a CAI (like mself) which eliminates that short fat bit. |

+1 That is a sexy looking AVO setup.
My WRX has weird FMIC setup at the moment with pipes all over the place "Under not over setup?" More on that later... I have a K&N POD sucking in hot engine bay air at the moment connected directly to the MAF so I'm going to go with the short silicone intake pipe + OEM Short Fat Pipe + MAF + POD. Ideal / soon = Short silicone intake pipe, possible Short fat pipe or OEM pipe, MAF then CAI if I can fit it under the FMIC pipe work.

You won't need the short fat bit unless you are running the standard air box, you'll just need an extension pipe, I'm at Singapore airport and can't see your pic but assume that's the case............Shitty free WiFi.

I started fitting an ebay silicon intake hose and now find that removing the intake manifold is looking like a good idea.
Whilst I got the hos ein there, there isn't enough movement to get it on the turbo intake and the BPV hose fitting is buried under the manifold and not looking like I'm going to be able to attach it. Someone already said just manifold gaskets required. But how about the fuel lines. Is the factory special tool required or are they easy to separate with standard tools? cheers Brett |

I've looked at it and decided I'll pay someone to install it and the TGV deletes at the same time. Changing the injectors was a tit of a job.
