all this talk of 't' piece and 'restrictor pill' is the dead giveaway, fess up to fucking around with it riceman, never seen asg tune a car without it setup as nic indicated in previous e-mail....

Mao refers to the T piece and resrictor being backwards however I find this hard to believe as we fitted a 3 port boost solenoid which runs a hose to the turbo comp cover from one port and a hose to the wastegate from another. The third port vents open. There is no T piece and no restrictor on this setup so how he came up with that little story I don't know.

just re-read first page

a fail AFM, doesn't stop the car from starting, it will start, just crap itself
stuffed immobiliser or wiring to it can though

did you not post up something about rewring your own immobiliser before? and had to stop mucking about with it because you were swapping over to a new unit?
and you hard wired the radar detector and interior lights went as well?
don't know if this is all related but, could it be a combo of this and the AFM that made things worst?

Venting it is no problem. It is common practice.

It is also common to vent it back into the system as required by ADR.

yes hooking the 3rd vent port to the intake pipe is a good idea for emissions, however is totally irrelevant in this discussion, 1 port goes from the compressor housing, 2nd port goes to w/g actuator, 3 port vented to atmosphere or plumbed back into intake

where is a 't' piece or restrictor required in this setup

why would asg set it up like this? my grimmspeed wasn't when they tuned mine

The Lloyd Rayney trial had less evidence tampering than this case.

Was the restrictor pill found in the hair next to the liquidamber seed pod?
Marti and XT43 like this.
