they don't look like PMu rotors, could be knock offs

should look like these:

That is how they look before you bed them in, its a coating on the rotor.

He meant the hat's colour. The older pmu hat is dark blue. Then they changed it because endless also use dark blue.

i actually meant the rotor, see the semi-circular scalloped design between where they bolt to the top hat, this aids cooling & reduces transfer of heat to the tophat

They look different to me too, maybe they are an older version. There is no air gap between the mounting points in your rotors.

Steve I said "when". It would be interesting to know in reference to the age of these ones. Its not just happening near the top hats there is one at a mid point on the rotor also.

Actual rotor designs may differ between vehicle models too. Need to ensure these are all like for like WRX rotors if comparing.
Is it also possible the rotors have been replaced at some time with something non Project Mu? on the PMu hats.
