Why do you want a BOV, for wank or becuase your running high boost?

get a BVP for higher boost or mod your stock BVP, I think stace can help there.

And AFAIK its not the AFM its the MAF that is affected by the BOV.

damn acronym city!

EDIT: I run a TXS BOV with no issues, but if your stock BVP is fixing the issue there may be more too it.

Mate you do not need the spring tension wound up too tight!
It should be set so that when in neutral and you stab the accelerator and it returns to idle without stumbling. From memory when I had wank factor on the bug it was only about 3-4 turns tension from lowest setting......
Have you got a boost guage?

Yeah, but its sittin on my desk ready to go in Which isnt gonna happen till i bother looking for a descent pillar mount...

It was tightened up a few turns off full, basically enough so that it would close before idle and also stop it from stumbling...

Im stumped. Gonna be patient till i take it into the workshop.

From memory and don't quote me but I thought there was 12 full turns from least spring tension to the most. I would try counting back the turns to least tension and then wind it up 4 turns and see what happens...can always go back to where you had it.

Umm yeah exactly what i was thinking, it shouldn't have a single thing to do with it..

Nothing leaking, all was done up tight when i double checked the install.

IC hose, vacuum hose, return air hose... All done up tight and leak free.

Mate they are easy to install, as Chee said it could be something to do with your ECU being stock. The 06 ECU's are as sensative as a woman with PMS!
