atm i run 5km in around 22-23 mins
ive been out of training for a year or so...but after 5 or 6 years of intense sport programs and playing hockey at a state level, the fitness didnt go too far.

after a few weeks back i was well below the 25min mark.

the best training i ever did was some interval stuff for a guy at uni's thesis. made me spew almost every session but the results from a 6 week program were amazing!

Yeah the spew factor is never good haha. Pretty glad i don't have a heavy clutch in the WRX either as going from gym to manual is a bit of a mish for the drive home!

Something else which delivers the spew factor without fail is the beep test, which i need to get back into as well. See where i'm at. Last one i did i cracked a high 12.

im use 2 scoops of No Xplode before gym, i can tell you it works, u train so much harder.
Most probably its because your peaking off ur tits by the time u get to the gym - u can lift more and have more energy, recovery is great too.

Just getting back into running again. have stop for a year or so but just doing heaps of cardio at gym. Best 5km I did was 21.10 on tread mill that was preparing for a 10km run also at which I did in 51min. Feels very good to be able to push. Doing a boot camp at gym now so the cardio is getting a good work out

I do about 5k in 25minutes, been slack through winter though, quite content though as I was an unfit fcuker not so long ago! Apparently my wife and I are doing City to Surf in a couple of week, i'd prefer surf and turf without the spew

Isnt it the same if you just grab caffine tabs from the chemist?

Half ball of rock out the glass pipe and you can get a weeks training in one day.

hahah leg cramp = stall.

i do not enjoy the beep test, indoor hockey have a love with 'shuttles'
basically 6 cones set 5m apart, run the the first touch the ground, back to the start touch the ground, out to the 2nd touch the ground then back to the start out to the third touch the ground back to the start etc etc

its a 6 min test, comprised of 6 sets. 30 seconds to complete a set then 30 seconds break and repeat. goal is to obviously be running for only 180 seconds. i've seen one person run 181, i spew every single time i do this. its absolutely brutal.

I was getting between 22 and 23 minutes for 5kms up in Area C @ 40-45 degrees in the shade when i was at full cardio. Since i been on the weights training ive only managed a 26 minute 5km's at a rathre leasurely pace.

EDIT: Just managed a roughly 18 minute 3.95km @ 4minute 40s/km

Its a common misconception from both sides (ie they do nothing/can do anything without them). Before taking anything do your research. Also why are people obssessed with weight loss? It should be how you look rather than weight. The supplements I take are:

Creatine in Morning (Combo Creatine Containing a Couple of different Creatine -Trailing ATM)
NoExplode pre-work out
Post work out Protein Shake w/ Creatine - Basic Protein with No Carbs/Sugar/Fat
Bed Time Shake of Calsium Casinate - With no additives.
Fish Oil Tablets - for joints

Aside from the NoExplode (which I get free at work) All the above products are relatively cheap. Over the last 6 weeks I have put on size and gained strength and I am recovering alot better than I have previously. Previously I have only been taking NoExplode and Protein. The Creatine and Bed time shake are new that Im trying atm.

This is also supplemented with a good eating plan as well......with plenty of cheat days .

Oh and btw...you cant flex cardio :P
