Ohh god its a fitness thread. Not a world of homos. Megs, ill do the beep test next time you and your cousin are going to do it. And yes, i believe having a 1mx1m tub of chocolates in your pantry does equate to chocoholic.

Kym, the tennis court is only good for 2 things. Me beating megs are tennis and pocketrockets!

Any Shin Splint sufferers here?

I just got back from a 5km run and my legs are incredibly sore. Running on them hurt, and now they are aching like fuck and really really sore.

Only way to stop them from hurting is a hot shower or a gentle massage with heat rub. I used to get them a long time ago, and they disappeared, but now they are back. From what i've read, there is no solution, other than to:

Not run on hard surfaces
Stretch calves well

I could hardly press the clutch down ..

I don't think i can run on them for a few days at least, and will need to focus on upper body/less impact on the legs.

A bloke at my work is also a big rig, at the age of 23 and 110kg he to wanted to lose the tyre around his waist. He has been going to the gym with myself and another bloke of the forum for a while now and has lost 10kg in about 3 months which is not to bad.

his work out is mainly bike, tread mill and cross trainer and a little weight work. we go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week not everyday for about 3 hours.

if you want to lose weight your work out should be mostly cardio and drink a shit load of water while training, stop drinking beer and eat healthy food.

if that doesn't work track suit and jumper and run on the stop in a sauna
