A simple reduction in KJ intake is the key - my at rest energy requirement is 11,000kj to stay at my current weight of 148kg, my current daily total intake is averaging 7000kj per day - so I should be consuming body fat all the time & not just when I'm working out or recovering from a workout.

I'm finding the diet easy, I never feel hungry - this has surprised me the most and I believe it's caused by the high protein consumption. Feel free to chime in Burke.
Chime: protein has got a slight appetite suppressant values to it but the big thing is is that your habits have changed. Your having 3 main meals and snacking ( mid morning / mid arvo ? ) on the protein bars which means your metabolism stays fired up. Hunger is just the fuel light of your body saying you're running out of energy which is bad as your metabolism is slowing down. Smaller meals more often fires up the metabolism too.

Keep up the good work!

My morning shake is consumed around 8:30 am & I have lunch at 12:30 - no morning snack during the week. I have a protein bar around 3pm to hold me over until dinner (7:30 - 8pm).

During the first week I did feel a bit wonky once or twice as my body adjusted to the rapid drop in sugar intake. All good now though apart from a damn cold!

I had that issue (getting colds a lot) when I started putting in efforts to lose weight, change of diet & extra exercise, if you start getting this problem, I found taking Vit C & D supplements got rid of this problem. Hardly got sick after that. This may help you too if you start getting colds during your efforts.

Played for Brentwood, my mate lives in Applecross

We should be playing Masters, this is over 45 years grade, but they only have one team, so playing the over 35's grade.

I Just sat in the forward pocket mate

Kiwi fruit and capsicum are very high in vitamin c.

I have been on the intermittent fasting diet and doing nothing but HIITS since last year. My weight dropped from 94kg to 76kg.
I have to say that apart from the two days of fasting, I like the fact that I can eat whatever the fuck I want without thinking about it.

Everyone is different, and it all depends on the amount of exercise you are doing, your normal intake, and the individuals body. You need to do what works for you.
If you can get the nutrients & vitamins through natural means (fruit, veg.), by all means, do it.
I suggested the vitamin supplements as they worked well for me. I had a healthy diet while losing weight, plenty of fruit & vegies, but it wasn't enough intake of the vitamins. As soon as I started taking Vit C & D, I stopped getting sick.
