I dunno bout that. i live in Ellenbrook (Whoop whoop i know) and reception was non existent with my 3G & 3GS. Since owning the iPhone 4 i can actually get bars and make calls. hallelujah! (This is with Vodafone too fyi.. )

every one will be in different situations i guess, in relation to location to towers other interference in their areas etc etc

i have been with vodafone for almost my entire phone life, going back 10 + years,

i will see what they come back and offer me, voda that is. And I will also go see telstra on tuesday and get prepared what i might jump too.


I would have never thought the day would come I went to Telstra

well vodafone came back and said sorry we had a problem with transmission , we dont garentee signal and network so we wont be doing anything for you basically.

So I have lodged tio form online, Saying I just want my plans to no longer have contracts giving me the freedom to move on when I am ready too.

see what happens

Yes you can.

P.S I emailed VF too, 7 days later they called me, I didn't answer and they said to call 1555. A complete waste of time emailing them.

yeah, main reason for email for to have a record of trying to resolve my problem in some way.

Thats good you can teather. I know optus doesnt allow it, when you go to turn on hotspot optus phones say sorry this feature not allowed, Woudl hate to have moved to telstra and then find out I can't teather.
