My phone has shat itself, went into vodaphone at joondalup today to try get new phone/new contract etc since im tired of my phone...I pay $45 a month for the Nokia 6760 slide with unlimited txt per month I was looking at getting a new one, either HTC Desire HD or the iphone 4....been in the contract for 13/24 months and to break out they wanted $500!!!!!!! or i could buy the HTC outright for $600....or remain in the contract with a broken phone...should have read the fine print, ended up buying the exact same phone outright for $99! and I am very happy, until it either breaks or i get money for new phone :P

Misses has been having issues with minimal or no reception for a while now.
Managed to get in contact with one of the Vodaphone complaints reps and got offered 50% off her bills for 3 months.

After some yelling and threatening to leave she managed to get 50% off for 6 months.
Hopefully they get a move on and get their upgrades/repairs done as soon as possible otherwise its off to another provider.

Even though I hate the prices on Telstra's phone plans, I can't even remember how many times I've had little or no reception, oh wait yes I can, zero!

Would happen to any company upgrading towers etc, they sent letters out appx a month ago saying some outages were expected as they're doing upgrades and if you experience any difficulties then keep a log then call them and they'll sort something out for you.

I've been all the way down in Mandurah today and its been fine for me, calls texts etc and even faster than usual internet (3G) compared to what I normally get in canningvale (edge).
