after 20+ years of using off & on i will say this about your post.
very few weed smokers ive known stop at weed (im one of them)
the one that went skitzo, was a nurse that got on speed/meth, fuckec his life & was the major cause of his early death.

most of the skitzos is hospital etc i believe just didnt do pot - they were on the harder shit but use pot as the 'whipping boy' & thats what has given it a bad rap.

Big difference between use and abuse
Some people are pre-disposed to addiction
Some people are pre-disposed to violence

Its extremely differcult to generalize about substance use/abuse. I believe the outcomes from use have a-lot more to do with the person than the substance.

I agree completely. Weed is probably the safest drug out there, but like anything, can become harmful in some way if used in excess or incorrectly.

The laws banning the sale and possession of smoking implements will only increase the chance of potheads causing damage to themselves; I'm sure smoking out of a bong is way less harmful that smoking out of a coke can etc.
