Thank's Drew.

I'd hate to think what the result would have been If B1 had waited another 5 mins or so before checking his SPG....... I would have had B1 at 10-15bar & B2 at 30.....I would have needed to bring them up immediately - if I had needed to give him my Occy I doubt my air shared would have lasted very long.

I'll take away from this that regardless of what experience people say they have - watch their body language/bubble trail/body position in the water.....AND threat them like a noobie until they prove otherwise.

Just a quick upload of some helmet cam footage from inside the Cathedral at Piccs. Entering the Cathedral from the Chasm at around 28~30m and descending to roughly 35m, before slowly circling the inside of the Cathedral up to around 6 or 7m before exiting again at the high entrance at 10m.

There's a lot of darkness as I wasn't using video lighting, it was more just for my own reference at a later date, but might be something a little different to open water video

Piccs on Vimeo

Sorry, I don't know how to embed Vimeo vids.

I've done another 4 dives over the last couple of days.

Looks like the white Cray's have walked but there's still some Jumbo Reds to be had

Boxing Day bubble - Buddied up with a random on the boat (he was a little air hungry - hence short dives)

Mindarie Wall

Billy's Basin

Todays little dip in the big blue off Mindarie.....More relaxed dives with a good dive buddy (My best Mate)

The Verandah

Darryl's Caves
(So many caves!)

Yep - I love it!

I had an Aladin Pro before (still as my back up comp).

I agree with your take on the Leonardo. I used to use one as well as a Mares Puck Pro for a long time, but unfortunately my needs have outgrown the abilities of them. As an open water, NDL computer though, it's definitely right up there at the top.

Been using the Shearwater Petrel since it came out and the Predator before then, and while it is a tec based computer specifically for deco/trimix, I've used it for many, many open water NDL dives, and it's still an easy to read, precise piece of tech.

The desktop software is great too. No superfluous gimmicks, just straight to the point. Gas mix, PPO2, PPN2, deco, temp, etc

Your right Alex - I'll probably never venture beyond Nitrox & Air, Although I nearly bought a Giotto instead of the Leo.
