im going to baby it for a while as you can appreciate its been off the road for such a long and the first built engine meltdown left a sour after taste in my mouth and since november last year its been a fight to get it back on the road.

i can confirm that nizpro have picked up the tab for the new engine including all the extra bits & pieces i asked for which is a big windfall considering the latest spec is far and beyond that of the old engine. the cnc headwork alone would of been close to 5 grand.

it was ordinary of them to supply the faulty wastegate and leave the car tuned without adequate boost control leading to the first engine failure but they stood behind the product which is all i could ever ask for.

xtreme was kind enough to shout me a complete professional detail today, just got this photo via txt.

ordered some E85 ethanol to do a 50/50mix and also bought 60lts of C16 116 racing octane fuel for when its run-in and ready to really turn the whick up on this monster!

big thanks for macey for letting me get the install sorted next week!

You must be chuffed to have her back... finally

Well done Nizpro for doing the right thing in the end, even if you had to twist their arm a little bit.

no naked manifold reflections here, all high gloss black!

the engine is built to handle 30psi so with the right fuel, 116ron octane, the sky really is the limit.

believe it or not, my T51R SPL will become a power restriction up around the 600 mark. only if you upsize to a GT47 will it push enough air past this magic milestone. the current record in perth for all this is 614 on C16 @ 28psi using a GT47 but its just too big, nothing below 4500rpm, that's okay when you have rpm to play with, but at 5800 it falls off, what is the point!

the right parts doing what they are designed to do with no restriction in getting air in and air out is the key. building horsepower is one thing, keeping it and making it efficient is the true key to success.

what i have learnt here i will also use in building my racecar wrx project.
