Looks awesome Jim. Nice work Gav. Now you just need to make middle of the bottom lip and rims black to match your road car.

Damn you Angela... I forgot to mask out the bottom of the bumper in the middle, and didn't actually realise until now... Bugger...

May have to put CF over it

The wheels, I've tried to get the tyres off by using Dave's trick of popping them in hot water, but it didn't work? Wheels/tyres got pretty warm, but still no chance of popping the tyres off the rim, so they may remain white for now...

Hanging out to get the charger up and running, and some plugs on the battery so I can actually see how this new motor setup goes!

Once you work it out we need a beers and drifting day! I'm doing this after work regardless in my driveway as I've set up a little course. :-) Just honing my skills learning to drift around random objects keeping the turns nice and tight.

Neg on Nitro's... Have one sitting doing nothing if anyone needs spares for a 1/10 road car!?

Huge thanks to Rossco for hooking me up with some XT60 clips and a power supply for my new charger... Much <3 mate!!

Car is now up and running with the new setup and absolutely flies along with the old 'long' gearing ratio setup!
The torque from the brushless setup is much more than the old brushed setup, and works a treat although its showing holes in my setup from previous breakages!... hahah...

So need to get a few bits in to get it working optimally!... Loving it!

Good Stuff Jimmy....My new chassis should be here in a week or two.

Then bring it on!

FYI: I have a HPI E10 converted to brushless if anyone is looking to get started straight away.

Ready to run (will supply 2 nimh batteries & a fast charger) but you should invest in either 2s or 3s lipo & a suitable charger.....It could do with some new drift tyres but it's good to go as a first drifter without spending a bucket load........ I think $200 is fair as the brushless conversion was $150 alone.

Fully painted and decaled WELD JZX100 Toyota Mark 2 body
Front and rear hpi LED light set (not connected)
WORK XSA 03C LP32 (6mm offset) and LP35 rims (9mm offset)
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 T-Drift tires (32mm front/35mm rear)

Note front mounted motor for front weight bias^^ (Mine is brushless & not fitted with the can type motor as above)

Pm me!
