Yeah, clearance will only be about 10mm which is ok while the car's in motion but not enough while stationary. Poor old girl's still wearing 1994 (93 build!) rubber.

Got hold of an exhaust that takes a very direct line from diff to tail. The 3" pipe routes under the inner CV and I'm concerned that perhaps the heat might affect the boot.

Think they're the same but looking to confirm that I can swap a rear exhaust pipe (cat to diff) from a 98 into a 94.

Resonator in mine is cactus so need a cat back exhaust to fit a 94 WRX. Don't care whether it's OEM or after market as long as it can...

Call me crazy, but dropping the exhaust manifolds makes things a bit easier. Makes it easier to remove/install the rearward rocker cover bolts (yes, Subaru calls them rocker covers!) and to clean...

I did the right side only a few weeks ago and dropped the exhaust manifolds. Gives much improved access to the bottom rocker cover bolts and head surfaces to clean.
