lol @ front lip removed to get up driveway... you're approaching it wrong if it's scraping.. I used to get my 06 with chargespeed carbon fibre lip up a semi mountable kerb on to my inlaws front lawn - and I've gotten MattMy99's slammed gf8 with cf lip up the same semi mountable kerb without scraping any of it.

I have tried every angle forward & reverse to no avail, with the front clip on. Have you seen my driveway? Its not exactly easy to get up. Not sure what is fo funny about removing my front lip to get up my driveway. I am only trying to not damage my car / rip the clip or bumper off. Actually the clip did come off a couple of times, then I removed it, as the drivers corner fell off totally.

I figured that would be a good thing?

Sometimes it's just that a driveway doesn't allow an angled approach. My drive allows for no angled approach due to the close proximity of walls.

My driveway is ok, so long as I don't have the front clip on, I am fine. Its just that extra 20 -25 mm with the clip on that scrapes. As you can see in the photo a few posts ago, my car is not slammed but its pretty low.

Ever touched coated headers after a thrash? You'll only do it once. Wrapped on the other hand....

cracked coating? don't know where you got that from? the external coat is pitted in some area's revealing the grey undercoat, they are double coated inside & out & it is still effective

would i coat again... probably not
would i ever wrap... never
