Sorry, we sell motec and vi-pec and would not want to post their software here and make comparisons.

It's ok, google will tell people what they want.

For those interested, Vipec logging software screen shots: Vlogger Screen Shot

Final Result 335hp at 1.6bar of boost. Job done. Engine safe.

If you know how to read this power-run graph (note the big flat at max power), you will see that the GDB STi has a potent engine that will give a lot more when it is forged.

Parts we were commissioned to install on this GDB STi (already had turo bad exhaust and proper HKS air filter kit and walbro fuel pump):

- HKS GT2835 Turbo kit for GDB
- Vi-pec V44 Plug n Play
- Equal length twin scroll headers with up-pipe
- Subaru Type C Turbo Bracket (special thanks to STI325V6 -- Gavin)
- Sard 800cc injectors
- Type C oil sump and dip stick
- Cusco Engine oil with Subaru oil filter
- Cusco oil catch can
- STD R3 coil-over suspension
- Denso IK22 spark plugs

Thanks for all the support and input from Russ, STi325V6, Tuna, 207de, Kato, Johnvk, jungleboy, Jester, My00GC8, strubaru, Mister Two, Rexxar, RichX and if I have missed anybody, do apologise .

Evolution R has been honest and open with this build, and would like to thank Gavin for providing the turbo bracket and Simon for his understanding and patience. And to all the skeptics and smart arses --- 'fk off' and a big baka-chinko! Perth,WA rules!! We do not need work done in other states, we can do it here in Perth.

Regards,
Mao/ Evolution R

Good result.

Just checking is that with TMIC or FMIC?

Also what pressure rating is the WGA in the HKS kit? Could a higher rated one hold that torque curve flatter for longer?

Turbo seems quite big, there's a fair bit of lag there even with a TMIC. Good power and torque nonetheless!

TMIC and FMIC dont increase lag. The size of the exhaust housing does. They only matter to throttle response.

Very nice result Mao!!!

You said you were running decaps etc, so I will be taking that into acct when we proceed with the injector testing soon.

All I can tell you is we did 1.6bar and anything above that, the car was losing power. Sorry not willing to share the data we have on the turbo set-up.

Power was done in 4th gear. 1:1 with drive ratio dialed into the Dynapack for rpm accuracy.

Regards.
