Turbo is in. But wrong fuel pressure reg adaptor...... dont know why. Rhd japan said its for ej25.....

Just for reference. If anyone buys Tomei Fuel pressure regulator in the future for their 08+ wrx/sti. Tomei FPR adaptor only works with GD ej257/255. So u need GD sti dampener.

But by doing that, u wont have any fuel stumble issue any more.

Edit: ecu locked itself for some reason. So close Waiting for a reply from US for solution. ...

Apparently when ecutek was removed, the rom is not cleared thoroughly and rom corrupted when obd port is connected to laptop. Mao is trying to clear rom completely to tune it. Ecutek japan says its rare case.

Definitely choose ur tuner not tools.

I thought this had been tuned by Mao afew times already. Is it a lingering problem that has just decided raised it head? Either way, pretty shit luck.

On second thought is this an attempt and createing suspence, if so, why you do this...

Mao mentioned its like a virus. Im confused too tbh, but the ecu will be flash to remove all ecutek trace. Hopefully will be ready soon.

PS: comes to think about it, i had cel related to obd port before, maybe related?

Car actually ran for a few seconds, and died. ECU will be sent to Sydney tomorrow.
