ppl just assume big turbo = lag, but ive done a few things which will put the turbo into GT35R territory in terms of response, i.e reversed manifold and twin scoll system.. A gt35r is perfect for wanners with a 2.5 imo...

clint nice pic, u can tell ur mamma that, that money is worth a pretty penny now.. hahahah
I'm sure you're aware that it isn't the gear you're in that is related to lag, it is the question of how long it takes exhaust gasses to return the inertia of the shaft and impeller/ exducer blades to optimal capacity once you get on the throttle again. Who knows, maybe you're careful planning will eliminate some of these setbacks...

Will be interesting to see once put to the test mate.

Wouldn't running Anti-Lag reduce that issue further? .. And if you have a strong box, combine that with flatshifting ..

Yeah? How's that .. Without reading every page of this thread, it sounds like a pretty strong motor ..

WRC cars run ALS constantly, they seem to fend alright ..

Apples to oranges in this case?

How often do you think they swap engines out on wrc cars and rebuild them?

Hehe, every event probably - I was just under the impression that AntiLag fucked the exhaust / turbo side a bit, as it's only really activated when you're off the throttle.

I think there are two types of ALS as well ..

/offtopic.

I think you need to drive a car running antilag to appreciate it.

The WRC car's braking system is a little different to group N and road cars.
