You pull it and split the case, remove the bottom cluster (the one with the diff pinion inside) and we'll go from there. I will have a shaft if it's damaged, probably not a second gear if it's beyond repair. Sometimes the ID of the gear has a few slight marks that you can hone out, otherwise renew it.
