+1 did my mates GC8 with Helical cut gear set 1-5 with the 5th in a different ratio for cruising at lower RPM.

You pull it and split the case, remove the bottom cluster (the one with the diff pinion inside) and we'll go from there. I will have a shaft if it's damaged, probably not a second gear if it's beyond repair. Sometimes the ID of the gear has a few slight marks that you can hone out, otherwise renew it.

why do they always think you need an extra 4 cylinders to be quick, for starters 1000hp is as useless on the track. slicks? give the STI slicks with reasonable power and im sure the ford will be left trailing the STI. A 1000hp is good for straight line, but any moron can drive fast in a straight line. And as for straight line ford wise, i'd rather buy a F6
